Dr. Brandon Bice

Leading the way at Grand Dental – Lockport is a talented and trusted dentist near Homer Glen, Dr. Bice. His interest in the medical field stemmed from an experience he had in high school after injuring his knee while playing football. Interested in becoming an anesthesiologist, his sister encouraged him to pursue the path of a surgeon. While researching both professions, he discovered oral surgery.

After attending Northern Illinois University for his undergraduate studies, he enrolled at the Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine, earning his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry. Since achieving his dental degree, he has pursued years of continuing education in endodontics, oral surgery, and restorative and cosmetic dentistry.

Outside the office, you’ll find Dr. Bice spending his time with his wife, Maddie, and their toddler twins, Bran and Blair.

Dr. David Ingallinera

Dr. Ingallinera’s 25 years of dental experience shine through at Grand Dental – Lockport. As a passionate and caring dentist near Homer Glen, he enjoys getting to know our patients and helping them move toward a life with better oral health.

Initially drawn to science as a child, he studied biology in college with the intention of pursuing the medical field after graduating. While shadowing his young brother’s orthodontist, he grew intrigued by the profession and decided it would be a great way to help others by transforming their smile and overall health.

Earning his undergraduate degree from the University of California Riverside, he enrolled at Northwestern University Dental School and achieved his dental degree. Afterward, he completed a general practice residency and oral surgery externship.

Since then, he achieved the status of Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD) in 2006 – a distinction only about 6% of dentists in the U.S. and Canada attain.

When he’s not in the office, you’ll find him with his wife, Debbie, and their son, Jack. He also enjoys playing golf and being outdoors, especially along the Chicago lakefront.

Dr. Kaiyun Chen

At Grand Dental – Lockport, we are pleased to have Dr. “Kevin” Chen delivering exceptional orthodontic treatment to our patients. Passionate about being able to improve an individual’s smile and oral health, he strives to help them reach their smile goals.

Dr. Chen has always enjoyed working with his hands, and he’s always been interested in the field of dentistry. Believing it to be the perfect profession for him, he began his pursuit in China, graduating from the West China University of Medical Sciences. After immigrating to the U.S., he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Additionally, he completed a five-year residency training in orthodontics and remains an active member of the American Dental Association, the Illinois State Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.

When he’s not busy straightening smiles, you’ll find him with his wife, Joy, and their two sons, Ben and Jason. They enjoy hiking and fishing, but he is also pleased with reading a good book at home.

Dr. John Micaletti

As a periodontist near Homer Glen, Dr. Micaletti believes in looking at all the options before determining how best to treat his patients. As a professional who works closely with those who need this type of care, he encourages their involvement and works hard to clearly explain what kind of process is involved with treatment.

This level of attention and compassion stems from his childhood – a time when he had to wear braces. His orthodontic team made the experience enjoyable, and it inspired him to pursue a similar field.

With a family heavily steeped in the medical field, he chose to enroll in dental school so that he could help solve patients’ oral health problems. He earned his Doctor of Dental Science degree from Loyola University in Chicago and started practicing general dentistry at our practice’s original Franklin Park location. After returning to school to pursue a degree in periodontics and implantology from Northwestern University, he pursued continuing education courses – something he still does today.

Many of the courses and training he pursues focus on surgical areas so that he can provide only the best, most advanced care to his patients.

As the periodontal specialist in three of Grand Dental’s offices, he enjoys the new opportunity to change patients’ lives.

When he’s not busy in the office, you’ll find him with his twins, Mia and Grant, both of whom are 21 years old. He enjoys bodybuilding and spending time in the gym, as well as growing his own vegetables and keeping up with his garden.
