Dr. Mohammed is excited to continue serving the Lockport community at Grand Dental – Lockport. Many patients may recognize him from his years practicing at Aspen Dental in Lockport. Following the closure of that office, he is pleased to continue providing dental care nearby and welcomes both former patients and new patients to Grand Dental – Lockport. Whether you have been a patient of Dr. Mohammed's for years or are meeting him for the first time, he looks forward to helping you achieve and maintain a healthy, confident smile.
Why Did He Become a Dentist?
Dr. Mohammed discovered his passion for dentistry shortly after high school while shadowing various healthcare professionals. With a strong interest in science and health, he quickly realized dentistry offered the perfect combination of patient care, problem-solving, and the opportunity to build long-term relationships. He was especially drawn to the ability to make a lasting impact on patients' lives through improved oral health.
Where Did He Study Dentistry?
Originally from Lemont, Illinois, Dr. Mohammed earned his undergraduate degree from Benedictine University in Lisle before attending Marquette University School of Dentistry. He has a special interest in surgery and dental implants and has completed extensive continuing education focused on surgical procedures and implant therapy. He finds great satisfaction in restoring patients’ smiles, function, and confidence through high-quality dental care.
Outside of the Office,
What Does Dr. Mohammed Like to Do?
Family is at the center of Dr. Mohammed’s life. He and his wife have been married for six years and are raising their three young children. Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying active through weightlifting and sports, and challenging himself with a game of chess. Born in the United States with both Middle Eastern and Hispanic roots, Dr. Mohammed is bilingual in English and Arabic and is currently learning Spanish.
